Return and Refund policy of Dare to Discover
At Dare to Discover we're committed to ensuring your satisfaction with our products. Please read our Return & Shipping policy carefully to understand how we handle returns, exchanges and refunds. As our company has just started, it is important to understand the challenges facing a startup clothing brand focusing on green apparel. Everything mentioned below is subject to change.

The challenges startup clothing brands face
At Dare to Discover, we want to be as transparent as possible on our operations. This goes further than showing how we make sure part of our profits go to good causes, it also focusses on the challenges a small startup clothing brand faces.

As mentioned above, a small startup faces financial challenges. One of the biggest reasons clothing brands fail in their first year, is the shipping cost of returns. It is also important to notice, that a returned product does not qualify as new, and can not be sold as such.

Your satisfaction is very important to us, which is why returns and refunds are possible. Free returns and refunds are possible under specific circumstances, such as quality issues or damage upon arrival. If you have ordered the wrong size or are dissatisfied with the color, you can return the product by shipping it to our location in The Netherlands at your own cost.

Before you order
Before you order a product, please be very aware of the size and color you are ordering. Awareness will reduce mistakes such as wrong sizes, which also helps our planet, less boxes going around means less pollution. It also means less costs for Dare to Discover, which we would much rather donate to one of our good causes.

Size: Please double check the size you order, by using our measure system. Which is displayed at every product.

Color: please make sure you select the right color, so you don't come across surprises when the order arrives. We try to be as transparent as possible in our displayed pictures. There is however a possibility of color differences between picture and product. This could be due to lighting used, or the screen type you order on.

Return & Exchange proces

  1. Time Frame: After receiving your order, you have 30 days to contact us via helpdaretodiscover@outlook.com. We will then start your process and help you out.
  2. Defective or damaged items: Upon arrival of a damaged product, a customer is required to send proof within 48 hours to helpdaretodiscover@outlook.com. If the product is indeed damaged, we will start the process of either a refund or a replacement product. All of which will be at the cost of Dare to Discover.
  3. Shipping returns: For returns under circumstances such as size mismatch or wrong colors etc. contact us at helpdaretodiscover@outlook.com. The customer is responsible for the cost of shipping to and from The Netherlands in this case.
  4. Returned product condition: To be eligible for return or refund, the product must be in the original condition. That means it cannot be worn (for a day), the product also has to be unwashed. We have a zero tolerance policy on this subject, products not in their original state will not be refunded.
